Todos lo viajeros que visitamos Versalles ese París nos deslumbramos su palacio y es normal, ya que es realmente espectacular.

La ciudad de Versalles a menudo se pasa por alto, lo cuál es un grave error, ya que es hermosa y aunque no tenga grandes atracciones, simplemente recorrer sus calles es un placer.

Los Barrios de Versalles

Barrio Montbauron Montreuil

Los barrios Montbauron y Montreuil se encuentra a los lados de la avenida principal de la ciudad, avenida de Paris, que lleva al palacio.
El pueblo de Montreuil solo fue vinculado a la ciudad de Versalles en 1787. Por eso, se desarrolló con diferencia y guardó un antiguo encanto, cerca de la iglesia Saint-Symphorien, de estilo neoclásico, raro por la época.
Es en este barrio que se localiza la Casa de los músicos italianos que llegaron a Versalles en el reinado de Luis XIV para formar parte de la Música de la capilla real.

Barrio San Luis

Con una arquitectura que es exclusiva de Versalles, no creo que haya visto nada como las pequeñas casas pintorescas que forman Le Carrés de Saint-Louis.
Cerca de la catedral, fueron encargados durante el reinado de Luis XV para ser utilizados como puestos de mercado. Aunque nunca fueron pensados ​​para ser utilizados como casas, ese es su uso principal en la actualidad.

El Aldea
Déjense guiar hasta el Aldea donde les acogerán las antiguas dependencias del hotel de Picardía y tambíen las pequeñas casas dispuestas como la forma de herradura, en torno al pozo. Una escalera pintoresco les llevará para visitar otros expositores y les permitirán ir hacia la calle de la Pourvoirie y al mercado Notre Dame.
El Paso
El Paso se situa en la antigua caminata de los prisioneros de la cárcel la “Geôle”. Samson, que ejecutó Luis XVI, fue el verdugo hasta 1788. Madame du Barry, última favorita de Luis XV, fue allí encarcelada durante la Revolución Francesa.
Le Carré
“Le Carré” de los anticuarios originalmente fue las caballerizas de la Bailía, convertidas en un cobertizo durante el siglo XIX, para albergar los vinos y los licores del mercado Notre Dame. Hoy día, son galerías anticuarias o talleres de artesano y revelan la riqueza de las creaciones artísticas y tambíen del estilo de vida pasado.

A. Palacio de Versalles

B. La Huerta del Rey

Esta antigua huerta ha sido completamente restaurada. Construido bajo Luis XIV (conocido como el rey sol debido a su opulencia y su enorme riqueza), hoy en día, puedes pasear por las flores, los arbustos y las verduras por igual.
Incluso existe la posibilidad de comprar algunas verduras que se cultivaron aquí,  aunque seguramente no es la verdura más económica que vayas a comprar.

C. Catedral de Versalles

Esta catedral de inspiración barroca se inauguró en 1754. Aunque la catedral sufrió graves daños durante la revolución francesa, se restauró poco después y hoy se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad con un techo abovedado único.

D. Ayuntamiento de Versalles

El Ayuntamiento de Versalles (Hôtel de Ville) no es muy antiguo, pero el edificio original data de finales del siglo XVII y el edificio “nuevo” conserva gran parte de la arquitectura antigua.
El edificio original fue construido en 1670 por el Marqués de Bellefonds, Bernadin Gigault. Era un hermoso castillo con terrenos que se extendían hasta el borde de los jardines del palacio.
Cuando se construyeron los establos reales, el marqués decidió que echaban a perder su vista y él le vendió el castillo a Philippe de Lorena, conocido como el Caballero de Lorena.

E. Mercado de Notre Dame

Cuando estés en Francia, si realmente quieres hacer lo que hacen los franceses, ¡come bien! Los productos frescos y locales están siempre en el menú. Cuanto más fresco, mejor.
Versalles está a unas doce millas de París. Así que está muy cerca del campo. Significa que los locales demandan productos frescos de calidad. F. Museo Lambinet

Cuando llegué por primera vez al museo, que tiene más de 30 habitaciones para explorar, me costó mucho creer que era incluso un verdadero museo, y no un castillo de cuento de hadas de una película.
