Nunca se termina de conocer del todo, una ciudad como Paris. Aunque tengamos muchos viajes, siempre hay una calle o un rincón escondido, que no hemos visto nunca.

Además de los free walking tours que son muy interesantes para saber más de la historia de París, vamos a recomendar un forma orginal para recorrerla, de la mano de un local.
La web se llama greeters es es la mejor forma  para conocer la ciudad de voz de un local y apreciar los detalles que como turista nunca vas a conocer.

Que es greeters

“Parisino por un día” es una asociación de parisinos amantes de su ciudad que disfrutan dando a conocer su barrio. Los 160 miembros, todos voluntarios, le ofrecen la posibilidad de vivir unas horas como un “auténtico parisino”.
Se puede descubrir la vida de los barrios, visitar lugares insólitos o direcciones de especial interés, artesanos y artistas: todo cabe en la carta de paseos gratuitos que se ofrecen a los visitantes del mundo entero.
Es de destacar también que los voluntarios de la asociación ofrecen paseos gratuitos en París para personas minusválidas, cualquiera sea la naturaleza de su discapacidad, ya sea que se encuentren solas o en grupos de hasta 6 personas.
Solicitan que, si la persona no es autónoma, tenga a su lado alguien que le ayude a trasladarse. En el sitio oficial de turismo de París mencionan que la asociación ofrece paseos para personas con discapacidad auditiva, visual, mental o motriz.

Funcionamiento

  • Visitar el sitio web de la Asociación y su sitio en Facebook.
  • Por lo menos dos semanas antes se debe llenar este formulario web para “encontrar un greeter”. En este formulario indicamos la cantidad de visitantes, fecha en la que nos gustaría realizar el paseo,  el lenguaje que preferimos, los temas de interés y cualquier comentario que querramos hacer llegar.
  • Unos días después, la Asociación nos envía propuestas de paseos en las que nos informa sobre el greeter que la realizaría, fecha y horarios, descripción del recorrido, etc. Si la propuesta nos gusta y nos queda bien, la aceptamos y se coordina el encuentro; si no, la rechazamos y la Asociación nos enviará una nueva propuesta cuando encuentre alguna que se adapte a nuestras necesidades
