La Caféothèque es donde comenzó la revolución del café en París hace algunos años. Creada por la decana de ‘coffeología’ Gloria Montenegro, ex embajadora de Guatemala, hoy embajadora no oficial de café de calidad de todo el mundo.
Gloria va al menos dos veces al año para visitar a los productores de café en América del Sur y África. Por el momento, el Caféothèque almacena y tuesta café de 23 países diferentes, pero apunta a subir a 31 para que puedan ofrecer un país diferente todos los días del mes.
También está muy cerca del río Sena, por lo que es una buena forma de relajarse después de caminar a lo largo del río.
Sin embargo, los postres no valen demasiado la pena y todos dentro de la tradición pastelera estadounidense, lo cual sorprende para un establecimiento parisino. El cheesecake está bueno pero no es espectacular.
El Barrio
Además de probar lo mejor del café en el mundo, es una buena excusa para recorrer el barrio de Le Marais, uno de los más bonitos de París.

Local muy agradable y cómodo donde tomar café de múltiples regiones del mundo. El servicio es excelente y los precios esta bien. Lugar indispensable para auténticos cafeteros, también puedes comprar café recién molido para llevar.
