Razones para visitar París en invierno

Si le preguntas a la gente cuáles son sus meses favoritos para viajar a París, lo más probable es que te digan abril, mayo, junio, septiembre y octubre o durante las vacaciones de Navidad.

La realidad es que se están perdiendo algo bueno. Vale la pena probar el clima en invierno y venir a París en enero y febrero. Aquí hay algunas razones y, como de costumbre, hay más:

Tarifas aéreas

Hay tarifas promocionales, y los aviones tienden a estar menos concurridos. Si vuelas sin escalas, intenta no cambiar de avión en los aeropuertos de ciudades conocidas por la nieve. Has visto fotos de personas acampando en los pisos del aeropuerto esperando que vuelvan a abrir.
Si está canjeando millas por su vuelo, hay más asientos disponibles cuando otros se quedan en casa. Por lo general, hay menos familias que viajan cuando la escuela está en sesión, lo que significa que su vuelo puede estar tranquilo. No hace falta decir que no hay garantías al abordar un avión, incluso si vuelas en primera clase.

Alojamiento

Tendrás muchas más opciones si vienes a París cuando se supone que el clima no es el óptimo. Los precios son más bajos y, en algunos apartamentos, hay un margen de maniobra a la hora de negociar lo que pagará.  Algunos propietarios dirán categóricamente que no, pero otros están convencidos de que el 90% de algo es mucho mejor que el 100% de nada.

Museos

Aunque los franceses son apasionados de la cultura y la visita a los museos y exposiciones como parte integral de sus vidas, las filas son más cortas porque hay menos turistas. No asumas que tendrás la Mona Lisa sola… pero hay algunas otras pinturas en el Louvre.
Incluso si hace frío y llueve, los interiores de los museos se mantienen calefaccionados.  No esperes  conseguir los mejores asientos en la ópera o el ballet, porque la mayoría de las entradas se venden como una serie. Aún así, tendrá más posibilidades de ver producciones estelares cuando haya menos turistas compitiendo por ellas.

Restaurantes

Hay algunos en los que tendrás problemas para obtener una mesa sin importar la época del año, pero son minoría. Además, no necesita reservar con tanta anticipación como lo haría durante el Abierto de Francia. Mucha gente dice que la cocina francesa durante los meses de invierno es más interesante, que es cuestión de gustos pero que vale la pena incluir en la ecuación. .
Otro lugar donde es bueno ser flexible: tiende a haber más cancelaciones durante el mal tiempo, ya que algunas personas contraen resfriados y no quieren aventurarse a comer una comida que no podrán probar y el vino que ganaron.

Tiendas

El segundo miércoles de enero es el día en que comienzan las ventas y duran cinco semanas. Los compradores están en el cielo anotando gangas. No lo cuente, pero algunas de las ventas no terminan el día señalado. Si le gusta una boutique específica.
