Una visita a Les Philosophes en Le Marais

Les Philosophes es solo uno de los cuatro restaurantes de un grupo propiedad del respetado restaurador Xavier Denamur.

Si bien todos sirven un menú similar, que se adhiere firmemente a la filosofía de Denamur de utilizar productos orgánicos de productores locales siempre que sea posible, Les Philosophes tiene quizás la mayor variedad que se ofrece.

Realmente no puedes equivocarte con ninguno de los platos, aquí todo es bueno, aunque nos encanta la sopa de cebolla para un plato cálido de invierno y el clásico flan pâtissier (flan de vainilla) como postre.
En Les Philosophes permite comer en un Bistrot de calidad a un precio medio a lo que se suelen cobrar en lugares similares.
Hay que reconocer que los camareros siempre son lo suficientemente hábiles, o yo lo suficientemente influenciable, para hacer que siempre pida lo que ellos quieren, lo que suele traducirse en facturas más elevadas.

La Experiencia en Les Philosophes

Este es un típico restaurante parisino con cocina hogareña. Compran productos locales y todo lo hacen en el momento. La comida es rica; quizás no espectacular pero no falla. Lo mejor en nuestro caso fue el pato: la porción es generosa y el sabor sobresaliente. Lo único malo es que los meseros no hablan inglés pese a ser un sitio frecuentado por turistas. Algo de lenguaje de señas será necesario.
